CLIA TakeAway

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) hold events for travel agents to come and keep up to date with all aspects of the industry.  This one was held in Southampton docs, complete with the Queen Mary II tied up alongside.  The event goes over 3 days and one of the sessions involves an ‘Ant and Dec’ style takeaway prize giveaway.  Pictures of all the attendees were required so they could be quickly rotated on the big screen and stopped randomly, with that person winning a prize.  All the 350 attendees had to be identified and photographed in very quick time, processed and made available immediately at the end of the session.  I set up just beside the check-in and people were shepherded through and shot 270 people in the first 2 hours, then spent the rest of the day trying to identify and track down the remainders.
